Swaim was voted to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association (NCBWA) All-Atlantic Region First Team after hitting .349 with 13 home runs and 49 RBI. Swaim was second in the Mountain East Conference in home runs and finished top 10 in the Atlantic Region in OPS (on-base percentage plus slugging percentage) at 1.136.
