Tesla Southcott

Southcott shares the role of Co-Athletic Director with Luke Duffy after the two were appointed to the title effect May 6, 2024. Southcott will continue her duty as the senior women's administrator for the department as well.

Along with his duties as a college administrator, Southcott will begin her first season as Concord's head women's basketball after spending the previous eight seasons as assistant coach to Kenny Osborne in 2022-23.

Under Osborne and Southcott's guidance, the Mountain Lions have risen from the bottom of the Mountain East Conference to one of the top tier programs on an annual basis. Southcott takes over a program that has put together three straight 20-win seasons entering the 2022-23 campaign. 

A native of nearby Princeton, Southcott starred at Princeton Senior High School before playing collegiately at Ferrum College in Virginia where she was an All-American during her senior season in 2012-13. Southcott has been active in the Concord community since her elementary days when she attended Concord's basketball camps. 

Along with bachelor's degree from Ferrum, Southcott graduated with her master's degree from Concord in health promotion while coaching.
