Cheslon Carolissen begins his third season as an assistant coach on head coach Alex Smith's staff.
Carolissen has been a key asset to the men's soccer program's success over the last two years. In 2024, Concord made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. As the top assistant on the men's soccer staff, Carolissen helped CU return to the MEC Championship for a second straight year in 2025.
A native of Cape Town, South Africa, Carolissen wrapped up his playing career at Oklahoma Panhandle State in 2021. During his senior season, he helped the Aggies to a 10-win season. He has previous coaching experience at the youth level coaching within the Challenger Sports Company.
