Andrew Barbera begins his fourth year as an assistant coach for Cross Country and Track during the 2025- 2026 school year. Barbera main focus is coaching throwers in track, assisting with the distance crew in XC and Student Athlete Recruitment.
The former standout on the track and in cross country, Barbera earned second team all- conference in the 2018 MEC Cross Country Championships. As well as a top 30 finish in 2019. Barbera was a large reason for Concord Placing in the top three of Cross Country Regionals during all five years of his eligibility. With an 8k PR of 26:55.0.
On the track Barbera qualified for the 3,000-meter steeple chase at the MEC outdoor Championships in three consecutive years. With a personal record of 10:07 for the steeple. 16:03 in the 5k run, and 33:36 in the 10k.
A two-time graduate of Concord, Barbera earned his bachelor's degree in history in 2021, and graduated with his master's degree in health promotion in 2023.
During the 2023-2024 track season, Barbera coached several athletes to personal bests and Top 10 Finishes in the MEC Championships:

Meagan Poticher – Javelin 30.42 – 8th Place Finish MEC Championships
During the 2022-2023 track season, Barbera coached multiple athletes to placing at the MEC outdoor Championships.
