Kendal Rooze concluded her first season as an assistant coach for the Mountain Lion softball program in 2023. 

Rooze, a native of Kokomo, Indiana, begins her tenure at Concord after a playing career at Indiana Wesleyan—a previous coaching stop for head coach Alyssa Morris as an assistant. She played in 15 games as a freshman in 2021 where she drove in three runs. Rooze graduated in 2.5 years from IWU.

As a graduate assistant, she is enrolled in the institution's masters of business administration program.
