To start the 2020-21 year, Matt Guilliams will begin his second season as assistant coach for Steve Barrett and the men's soccer program.
Guilliams is a familiar face to the program after appearing in 42 games in the midfield for the Mountain Lions from 2012-15.
Over his four-year career, the Roanoke, Virginia native started in 16 of 42 appearances including a career-best six starts during his senior year.
During his first season as the assistant coach, Guilliams helped tutor Maxime Ramioulle to All-MEC Second Team honors.
The former Mountain Lion brings coaching experience with him back to the Concord program after coaching high school boys' soccer at William Byrd High School in Vinton, Virginia from the fall of 2016 to this past spring.
