Ellie Lawrence returns to her alma mater for her second year as an athletic trainer in 2022-23. 

The Newport News, Virginia native graduated from Concord in 2019 with a degree in athletic trainer. She spent the last two years working on her master's degree from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. She finished up her post-graduate degree in kinesiology while working with a variety of sports including football, volleyball, wrestling and women's lacrosse. 

During her undergraduate career at CU, Lawrence excelled on the Mountain Lions' volleyball team from 2015-18. She ranks eighth in career hitting percentage at .191 as she tallied 679 kills and 479 digs as an outside hitter. 

Lawrence's primary sport responsibilities will be baseball and volleyball.
