Hairston is in his second year as tight ends coach at his alma.
In his short tenure, Hairston has coached All-MEC selection Dalton Brindo, who had a major part in CU's success in 2014, both as a pass catcher and blocker for Concord's top-ranked rushing game in the MEC.
During his playing days as a Mountain Lion, Hairston played along the offensive line where he was a four-year starter and was a three-time all-conference selection (2009, 2010, 2012).
The Clarksburg, West Virginia native was also apart of CU's WVIAC Championship team in 2011.
The 2013 graduate of Concord also serves as the team's strength and conditioning coach.
