Josh Beekman

Beekman comes to Concord after coaching as a graduate assistant at Florida International. Before his coaching career began at the Division I school in Miami, Beekman was a successful offensive lineman for the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In 2008, the Amsterdam, New York native started all 16 regular season games for the Bears at left guard as the Bears went 9-7 and finished second in the NFC North as Beekman helped block for 1,000-yard rusher Matt Forte. Beekman played for Chicago from 2007-10 and then for the Colts in 2011 and also had a brief stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012.

Beekman attended Boston College from 2002-06 and earned AP First Team All-America honors in 2006. Additionally, Beekman was awarded Jacobs Blocking Trophy for being the best blocker in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

Along with coaching at Florida International, Beekman spent time as an assistant offensive line coach at Eastern Kentucky during the 2012 season.
