DeAirus Whitney brings Division I experience to the sidelines in Athens as he begins his first season on the staff of head coach Cody Edwards. 

Whitney, a native of Arkanas, comes to Concord after spending time at both Western Carolina and Central Arkansas Whitney's primary focus throughout his coaching career has been the defensive backfield, however, Whitney got his start coaching linebackers and defensive line at Catholic High School in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2019. 

He graduated from UCA in 2021 with a degree after interdisciplinary studies after his playing career was cut short at Lyon College due to a career-ending injury. 

Whitney is married to the former Ms. Macie Fritts.
