Chris Anderson begins his first season as the wide receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator at Concord in 2024.
A native of Brunswick, Georgia has seen success as both a player and coach.
Anderson comes to Concord after serving on the staff of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023. Before his brief stint on an NFL sideline, Anderson was the wide receivers coach at Division I Hampton in Virginia. Anderson's coaching travels have also seen him make stops at Tusculum, where he was on the same staff as Concord head coach Brian Ferguson, as well as West Georgia
.
As a player, Anderson was a three-year starter for Valdosta State in Georgia and was part of the Blazers' 2012 Division II National Championship team. He would go on to be inducted into the VSU Athletics Hall of Fame after his All-American career wrapped up. After his collegiate playing days, Anderson spent time in the Arena Football League, playing for the Wichita Force.
Anderson and his wife, Ashley, have five kids, Christopher, Madison, Malachi, Daniel and Robyn.
