Adkins Named to Rollins Invitational All-Tournament Team

WINTER PARK, Fla. - Sophomore middle hitter Addie Adkins of the Concord University volleyball team has been selected to the Rollins Invitational All-Tournament Team.
 
Adkins racked up 24 kills across four matches as the Mountain Lions finished 1-3 in the Sunshine State. Adkins stayed efficient, hitting at a .188 clip for the tournament.
 
The Wayne, W.Va. native headlined the defense for CU, posting nine total blocks through the four matches played.
 
Her best showing came in the Concord win over Ursuline. Adkins notched six kills, three digs and a team-leading four blocks.
 
The Mountain Lions are back in action on the road against Ferrum this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. before participating in the UC-State Crossover tournament from September 4-5.
