Concord Softball MEC Tournament Information

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Concord University softball team has earned the number three seed in the Mountain East Conference South Division for the upcoming MEC Tournament in Salem, Virginia at the Moyer Sports Complex.

Concord finished the regular season with a record of 26-24 overall and 15-15 against MEC foes.

The tournament gets underway on Wednesday as the Mountain Lions will face Frostburg State, the number two seed in the MEC North 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The tournament is a double-elimination format.

Regardless of result against Frostburg State, CU can not be eliminated on Wednesday as it would either play again at 12:00 or 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

An all-session pass for the entirety of the tournament can be purchased for $35 while single-day tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth and children 10 and under are free.

1N – FAIRMONT STATE
2N – FROSTBURG STATE
