TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The Concord University women's golf team placed seventh at the Trailblazer Spring Classic hosted by North Greenville at Cherokee Valley Country Club Monday and Tuesday.

CU posted scores of 403 and 414 to finish at 817 for the tournament.

Freshman
Kendra Lugo paced the Mountain Lions as she tied for 15
th after scores of 89 and 88. She posted a total of 177.

Sophomore
Sara Matos Tamargo scored 190 during the tournament with cards of 94 and 96, Freshman
Reagan Friel totaled up 222 while sophomore
Alexandria Denny was six strokes back.

Chloe Williamson from Christian Brothers was the individual medalist with a two-day score of 155. CBU was also seven strokes better than North Greenville for the team title (637-644).

Concord finishes the spring season at the Mountain East Conference Spring Classic April 12-13. The tournament will be at Green Hills Country Club in Fairmont, West Virginia.
