DAVIS MAKES HISTORY IN ATHENS
Senior libero Allie Davis etched her name into the record books by breaking the program's all-time career digs record during a dominant match against Glenville State. Davis anchored the back row with a stellar defensive performance, officially surpassing the previous career milestone of 1,948 to claim the top spot in Concord volleyball history. The Jonesborough, Tennessee native has 1,955 digs for her career.

MAKING WAVES IN THE MOUNTAIN EAST
Concord sits near the top of the Mountain East Conference in scoring, ranking second in total points (1,070) and maintaining a strong offensive pace with 16.21 points per set. The Mountain Lions showcase a sharp attack, currently holding the third-best hitting percentage in the conference at .185 off 805 total kills. The offensive output has been spread around with only senior outside hitter Meg Williams ranking in the top 10 in the MEC in kills (2.94 per set). A total of five Mountain Lions average at least 1.3 kills per set.

HOLDING THE FORT DOWN
The Mountain Lions maintain a stellar defnese as well, ranking second in the conference with 154.0 blocks for an average of 2.33 blocks per set. Concord's defense continues to step up in big moments, highlighted by a season-high 15 blocks against West Virginia Wesleyan last week. Backed by a strong back row that sits third in the conference with 1,115 total digs, the defense also holds opposing offenses to a .141 hitting percentage (third best in the MEC) and limits opponents to a conference-low 1.26 aces per set. Individually, senior middle hitter Jasmine Anderson is second in the MEC with 1.27 blocks per set. Sophomore middle hitter Addie Adkins is third at 0.92 blocks per set. And last week, junior right side Maddie Stull tied her career high with eight blocks at WVWC.

AIMING FOR GREATNESS IN THE BOOKS
Concord is officially rewriting program history, establishing an unprecedented standard by achieving a stellar 5-1 start in conference play in back-to-back years. This historic trajectory has been fueled by a string of dominant performances against West Virginia State, West Virginia Wesleyan, and Glenville State. The Mountain Lions continue to solidify their status as a powerhouse in the MEC, proving that last year's success was only the foundation for an even more formidable run. Last year, CU started 6-1 in MEC play.
