ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University football team has announced game times for all four home games this fall as well as set the game times officially for five of the seven road games.
First for the four home games. CU's home opener versus West Liberty is slated for 1:00 p.m. September 27 at Callaghan Stadium. Two weeks later, the Mountain Lions play the first of two 2:00 p.m. home games when Concord welcomes West Virginia State to Athens October 11. The October 27 tilt versus West Virginia Wesleyan is also set for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff October 25.
The final home game versus Fairmont State November 8 will be at 1:00 p.m.
As for the road contests, Concord's first visit to Mercer Country rival Bluefield State in more than 40 years will be 1:00 p.m. September 6 at Mitchell Stadium in Bluefield. The next two road contests (at Charleston, September 20 and at Frostburg State, October 4) will be at 1:00 p.m.
CU is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. game against Glenville State at Memorial Stadium in Summersville, West Virginia October 18. The final road game of the season at Ferrum November 15 will be at 2:00 p.m.
The Mountain Lions' season opener at UVa.-Wise is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. August 30, but is subject to change—as is the 12:00 p.m. kickoff November 1 at Wheeling.
