CALABASH, N.C. – The Concord University men's golf team finished in 14
th place at the Battle of Brunswick hosted by Davis & Elkins at Brunswick Plantation Friday and Saturday.

The Mountain Lions shot rounds of 334, 345, and 349 for a total of 1028 in the two-day event. Pitt-Johnstown placed first with the lowest team total of 893. Saginaw Valley State's Shea Harmeson was the top individual in the tournament, tallying a three-day total of 217 (+1).

CU's top finishers were senior
Indiana Eades and freshman
Kelly Pimenov II at +36 to tie for 74
th in the field. Eades posted rounds of 80, 86, and 86. Pimenov led off the event with an 82 and followed with a scorecard of 85 in rounds two and three. Eades shared the team lead for birdies on the weekend with freshman
Jonah Willson.

Willson shot rounds of 86, 85, and 84 to place 78
th in the field at +39 overall. He fired two birdies in round two on the par-5 eighth and the par-4 12
th.

Senior
Jacob Chittaphong was the final team scorer for Concord, posting rounds of 86, 89, and 94. He recovered from a +11 start in round one with a 39 on the back nine, making par on the last five holes to head into day two.

Freshman
Coltan Farrell competed as an individual, placing 87
th in the field at +46. Farrell's best round came in round three, scoring 41 on the front nine and 39 on the back nine to tie the team's best single round of golf of 80.

CU stays in the Carolinas to participate in the Pawley's Island Invitational at Litchfield Country Club hosted by Gannon March 10-13.
