ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University baseball team lost 23-11 to nationally-ranked, 24
th-rated Millersville Friday afternoon in a non-conference contest at Anderson Field.
Despite scoring nine runs in their final four at-bats, the Mountain Lions (4-7) were unable to overcome a 16-2 hole after five innings.
Concord put together four-run rallies in back-to-back innings—the sixth and seventh. The sixth-inning scoring was started by consecutive one-out doubles from junior catcher

Brendan Brady followed with singles as Brady's knock scored Jamison.

Nick DiSanti brought in two runs with a single through the left side.
In the seventh, Hunter drew a bases-loaded walk to start the scoring. Senior infielder
Tyson Burke came right behind with a run-scoring hit. Gragg and DiSanti capped the scoring with a sacrifice fly and RBI single, respectively.
After seven innings, CU was within 17-10, but it was as close as the Mountain Lions would get to Millersville (7-1).
DiSanti was 3-for-5 with three RBI at the top of the order. Hear was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Junior outfielder
Korbin Bostic and Gragg each had two hits. Bostic added two RBI on a first-inning single.
Concord's 17 hits were a season high.
Sophomore pitcher/outfielder
Demario Faison (0-2) was the pitcher of the record for CU. He allowed five runs over 2.1 innings.
Concord and Millersville play a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 p.m. Saturday.
