Weekend Softball Doubleheader Moved to Belmont Abbey

ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University softball team has announced modifications in its weekend schedule.

The Mountain Lions were slated to host a three-team round robin Friday against Belmont Abbey and Walsh in Athens, and an additional doubleheader versus Walsh Saturday.

However, with snow already on the ground and forecasted rain, Concord will now travel to Belmont Abbey in suburban Charlotte, North Carolina for a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. Friday.

Live statistics will be available for the doubleheader. A complete preview will be posted Thursday. 

CU enters the weekend with a record of 1-4 while Belmont Abbey sports a record of 5-1.
