CHARLESTON, W.Va. -Â The Concord University men's golf team placed 17th at the Charleston Fall Invite after two days and 54 holes of competition Monday and Tuesday at Edgewood Country Club.

CU shot team totals of 320 and 318 on day one before capping off the tournament with a score of 310 day two.Â

The Mountain Lions were led by freshman
Jonah Willson who posted all three rounds below 80 (77,79,76). The Beckley, W.Va. native finished 69th in the field at +19 for the week.Â

Kelly Pimenov II and senior
Indiana Eades tied for the second-best finishers for Concord at +23 (236). Pimenov dropped a team-high five birdies in the tournament including four birdies in round two. Eades shot the lowest round of the tournament of any CU golfer with a 76 in the third round.Â

Coltan Farrell finished his first collegiate tournament at 37-over par (253) with rounds of 82, 83, and 88.Â

Jacob Chittaphong finished with a total score of 235 with his low round of 81 coming in round one.

Charleston's Erik Ulvang was the medalist to help the Golden Eagles to the team title, finishing nine strokes ahead of Indiana (Pa.).Â

The Mountain Lions are back in action at The Raven Golf Club in Snowshoe, W.Va. for the Dr. Wally Edgell Invite hosted by Davis & Elkins September 16-17.Â
