ERIE, Pa. – The Concord University men's golf team finished ninth at the Mercyhurst Spring Invite played Saturday at Lake View Golf Club.
The Mountain Lions tallied a total team score of 663 after rounds of 333 and 330.
Junior
Indiana Eades was a top-30 finisher in the field of 50 as he placed 30
th with a two-day total of 161 (81, 80). Sophomore
Zan Hill had scores of 83 and 81 as his 164 total was tied for 34
th.
Juniors
Jacob Chittaphong and
Peyton Watts both carded rounds of 82 and 87 to finish at 169. Watts' 82 came in the first round while Chittaphong fired an 82 during Saturday's second round.
Senior
Hunter Willis finished at 205 (99, 106).
Gannon won the team event by 12 strokes over Point Park (604-616). PPU's Troy Loughry was a shot better, 147-148, then his teammate Tharcisse Kalinda for medalist honors.
Concord finishes the spring season April 22-23 at the Atlantic/East Regional Preview hosted by West Liberty at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia.
