DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Graduate kicker/punter Josh Hutley and senior defensive back Khwan Mickens have been selected to play in the FCS National Bowl at Daytona Beach Stadium at 11:00 a.m. Sunday.

The 10th Annual FCS National Bowl will feature players from the Division I FCS level as well as Division II and Division III.

Hutley and Mickens will both be on the National Team as they suit up with fellow Mountain East Conference players, UNC Pembroke defensive lineman Jamae Blank, Wheeling offensive lineman Peter Schmitt and Glenville State defensive back Mark Sheppard.

The FCS National Bowl will have NFL, CFL and international scouts in attendance.

This past fall, Hutley averaged 42 yards per punt as he was named to the All-Mountain East Conference First Team for the second straight year. The Geelong, Australia native was also 6-for-9 on field goals, including a career-long 42-yard successful attempt at Fairmont State. Hutley punted for an average of at least 43 yards in five of 11 games in 2024.

Mickens, a transfer from Chowan University, was Concord's third-leading tackler in 2024 as he made 65 stops from his safety position. He added an interception and three recovered fumbles as he tied for the conference lead in fumble recoveries. Two of Mickens' takeaways came versus Glenville State. He logged a career-best nine tackles at West Virginia State.
