HISTORIC SEASON CARRIES ON
Concord has already secured the most wins in a single season in program history as it collected the record-breaking 14
th win in the regular season finale versus Charleston November 6. CU's 55 goals are the second most in program history, behind the 2000 squad that netted 63 goals. Before losing the MEC Championship to Charleston Sunday, CU owned the longest active winning streak in Division II at 11 games. The 12 goals that sophomore forward
Syrus Conolly has scored this fall are fifth in a single season at CU while the 10 times that junior midfielder
Malher Santi Possu has found the back of the net is sixth highest in program history. And the 26 goals that the Concord back line has surrendered is tied for third fewest in program history.
LOOKING FOR REVENGE
Two of the three losses for the Mountain Lions this season have come at Charleston's Welch Athletic Complex, a regular season defeat at the end of September and most recently Sunday's conference championship contest. Junior forward
Richard Henry has scored in both games at the Welch Athletic Complex, including a game-tying 60
th-minute goal on September 25. Henry knocked in a 69
th-minute goal Sunday on an assist from junior defender
Ted Roberts. Sophomore forward
Ignacio Alvarez Maina assisted on Henry's regular-season goal at Charleston. Henry has logged a total of seven shots on the turf of the Welch Athletic Complex this season with four of those on goal.
HIGH-POWERED OFFENSE AND A STINGY DEFENSE
The Mountain Lions' record-breaking season and success has come from overwhelming teams with 55 goals which ranks fifth in Division II. Fellow Super One Region Tournament team Gannon paces Division II with 66 goals. CU's +29 goal differential is tied for ninth in Division II, and Concord has yet to be shutout this year. New Haven's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 40 years has been spurred by a supreme defense that is tied for sixth in Division II with 10 shutouts. The 13 goals allowed by the Chargers are sixth fewest in Division II. While Conolly and Possu have been at the forefront of the scoring, senior forward
Fabian Amhof enters the national tournament with eight goals and three braces this fall—all since October 23. Alvarez has his own brace (at Wheeling). Henry has five goals and eight assists.

SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
Out of the super competitive Northeast-10 Conference—that includes the two-time reigning national champion Franklin Pierce—New Haven advanced to NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1984 after going to this year's NE-10 Championship Game. The defense is anchored by First Team All-Northeast 10 First Team selection Anthony Denis who has started all 19 games. Goalkeeper Archie Watts has an impressive goals-against average of 0.68, good enough or tenth in Division II. Pau Santanach leads UNH offense with eight goals and four assists. The 35 goals by New Haven have come from 17 different players.
