DANIELS, W.Va. – The Concord University men's golf team finished in eighth place after round two of the Mountain East Conference Championship at The Resort at Glade Springs Cobb Course Tuesday.

CU finishes the tournament with cumulative rounds of 341 and 323. Freshman
Kelly Pimenov II will advance as an individual for round three
Four Mountain Lions will compete at the Stonehaven Course Wednesday alongside West Virginia Wesleyan and West Virginia State in a round separate from the MEC Championship.

Pimenov sits in 22nd place among all players after posting a 75 (+3) in round two to bring his two-day total to +12, 156. He dropped two birdies on the back nine to fuel a 37 and send him to Wednesday's final round.

Senior
Indiana Eades sunk birdies on the par five second hole and par four fourth hole to shoot an 81. Eades' two-day total was +23.

Jonah Willson saw a five-stroke improvement from round one, posting an 82 in Tuesday's action. Willson finished +25 through 36 holes. Senior
Peyton Watts carded an 85 to finish three strokes below Willson at +28.

Coltan Farrell concluded his day with a 90 on the scorecard, matching his day one performance.
Pimenov will tee off at 9:10 a.m. in pursuit of Wheeling's Ryan Courtney who sits at -3 heading into day three. Charleston owns the team-lead at +14, three strokes better than West Liberty.
