BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Concord University women's cross country team placed eighth in the Paul Short Run Green Race Saturday afternoon.
Concord scored 294 points. Sonoma State was the only team under 100 points at 64 as the team winner. SSU's Constance O'Neal was the individual winner.
Just like the two previous meets this season, junior
Katy Walkup was the top performer for Concord as she clocked 23:22 for the 6,000-meter course and finished 20
th. Senior
Madison Cornett was just outside the top 20 as she clocked 23:31 in 21
st.
Freshman
Kate Kelly ran 24:26 and finished 52
nd. Sophomore
Sara Turner finished up in 25:07 which was 83
rd among the field of 245 competitors. Freshman
Larah Blevins was the fifth and final scoring runner for CU as she clocked 26:36 in 150
th, but 132
nd in the scoring. Sophomore
Charlotte McGinnis was two spots behind Blevins with a showing of 26:40.

Abbey Londeree (26:57), senior
Kaylee Dixon (28:52) and sophomore
Piper Doughton (29:22) completed the field for the Mountain Lions.
Concord is back in action Friday, October 11 at the Royals XC Challenge at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, North Carolina.
