ROLLING ALONG
By picking up a 2-1 road win against Salem Wednesday night, the Mountain Lions enter the weekend unbeaten in their last five games (4-0-1). With the recent victories, CU has vaulted itself into the thick of the MEC Tournament equation with 10 points, good enough for sixth, and just six points behind third-place Davis & Elkins. Wesleyan and West Liberty start the weekend tied for fourth in the standings with 13 points. Sophomore midfielder Tomas Kelly has scored in four of the last five games, including three straight contests. Meanwhile, junior midfielder Fabian Amhof has two goals and four of his five assists on the year in the last five games.

MILESTONES AHEAD
With Concord's recent run of success, the Maroon and Gray are about to enter rare air in the history of the program which dates back to the late 1990s. The most wins for CU in a single season are 13 during the 2000 campaign. The second-most wins for the Mountain Lions in a single season six which has happened three times—most recently in 2016 when they finished at 6-10-1. Concord has never had a five-game unbeaten streak in program history, and the only three-game unbeaten streaks in program history came twice during the 13-8 season in 2000.

SPLITTING THE POINTS
The Mountain Lions played to a pair draws against West Liberty and West Virginia Wesleyan earlier this season. CU scored in the final 10 minutes at WLU to secure a 2-2 tie September 6. Sophomore defender Kai Forsyth had the game-tying goal in the 84th minute off a corner kick from Kelly. Amhof scored in third minute at West Liberty. A 0-0 draw versus West Virginia Wesleyan September 13 featured just 16 total shots in the game as sophomore goalkeeper Keegan Grant secured one of his four shutouts on the season. Wednesday's game features two of the best goalkeepers in the MEC in Grant and West Liberty's Noah Underwood. Both keepers have a goals-against average below 1.00 this season. Grant is second in the MEC in saves (54) while Underwood ranks third (47).
