Set 1
With both teams trying to string together a run, it was Wesleyan (7-20, 3-10 MEC) that went on a 6-0 spurt before the midpoint of the set to open up a 16-11 lead. The Mountain Lions (6-23, 0-13 MEC) traded points with WVWC, but never got closer than two points, 22-20, for the remainder of the game.
Set 2
Similar to the opening set, it was a Bobcats' scoring run that forced Concord into a six-point deficit. CU scored consecutive points on Wesleyan errors to get within 13-12, but WVWC rattled off the next five points to go up 18-12. The Mountain Lions cut the deficit to 21-18 after a kill from sophomore outside hitter

Wesleyan scored the final three points of the match to win.
