FAIRMONT, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team lost 3-0 at Fairmont State Sunday afternoon in a Mountain East Conference game at Duvall-Rosier Field.
FSU (4-2-3, 4-2-2 MEC) scored two goals four minutes apart in the first half—in the 11
th and 14
th minutes—to take an early 2-0 lead.
The Mountain Lions (5-4-1, 3-4-1 MEC) were held to five shots in the first half.
After a defensive start to the second half, the first shot of the half for either team was a Fairmont State goal in the 63
rd minute.

Zoe Belding had two shots in the final 15 minutes as both of her attempts were saved by Fighting Falcons' goalkeeper Taylor Kennedy.
