GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Concord University women's golf team finished fourth at the Glenville State Invite Friday at the Glenville Country Club.
The tournament was a 36-hole event over two days. CU posted a team score of 751 (372, 379).
Freshman
Mary Denny led the way for the Mountain Lions as she posted rounds of 89 and 86 as she finished 10
th with a two-day total 175. Senior
Melinda Goda put together two consistent rounds with a scores of 88 and 89 as she finished 11
th with a total of 177.
Junior
Taylor Bohan just missed out on a top-15 finish. The Big Chimney, West Virginia native recorded rounds of 98 and 99, tying for 16
th with a two-day score of 197. Fellow junior
Gretchen Carr was 18
th as she shot five more strokes than Bohan.
Sophomore
Kaleigh Baisden tied for 24
th with a total of 240.
Concord competes at the Charleston Invite September 13-14.
