Concord Loses at Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer team fell 11-1 to Charleston Friday night in a Mountain East Conference game at the Welch Athletic Complex.

Concord (2-5) answered a UC goal (7-0) in the second minute of the game as freshman midfielder Ricardo Chinea found the back of the net in the 11th minute to even the score. The Golden Eagles came right back with a score in the 15th minute to take control.

The goal for Chinea was his second of the season.

CU concludes the spring 2021 regular season against Notre Dame on the road.
