ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team faces West Chester in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the YMCA Paul Cline Complex in Beckley, West Virginia.

Concord is 19-0-3 overall after defeating Bloomsburg in the second round of the NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament
West Chester is 12-4-3 overall and went 11-3-2 in PSAC games.
THE REMATCH
The last time these two teams faced was in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament. West Chester defeated CU, 2-0. Concord has eight starters returning who played in that game. Senior goalkeeper

CU TOURNAMENT RECAP
The Mountain Lions started their tournament run with a 3-1 win against Mercyhurst. Fifth-year senior

th minute. Mosby is currently in second in total goals in Division II with 24 this season. Foster scored the final goal in the 53
rd minute. Concord has now scored 76 goals this season, which is a new single-season program record. CU is tied with Columbus State for most goals this season.
The Mountain Lions have tied a program record of 19 wins in a single season, which was set by the 2019 team. Grand Valley State is currently the only team in the nation with 20 wins.
REGIONAL ACCOLADES
Mosby was named the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) Atlantic Regional Player of the Year. Brogden, Carmichael, Foster, Marsh, Mosby, and Smith were named to the All-Atlantic Region First Team. The six selections were the most selections by any team. Carmichael, Foster, and Mosby were All-Atlantic Region First Team in 2019 as well.

WEST CHESTER AT A GLANCE
The Golden Rams defeated Charleston 2-0 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. West Chester went on to defeat Kutztown in penalty kicks to advance to the Sweet 16. WCU is led by midfielder Kaitlynn Haughey, who leads the team in goals (six) and points (16). Goalkeeper Hayley McGee is 11-4-1 with a goals-against average of 0.58. McGee has a save percentage of 88 percent on 153 shots faced. West Chester only has three current starters who played in the 2019 matchup.
