MILESTONE MOMENTS
A few players achieved career highs or moved up in the Concord record books during the three matches last week. Junior middle hitter Amber Hall surpassed 1,000 attack attempts making her eligible for the career mark in hitting percentage. The Massillon, Ohio native is now second in hitting percentage at CU at .273. Senior middle hitter Sheridan Herron hit 200 career blocks in the contest at West Virginia Wesleyan as she finished with seven total blocks, one off her career high. It was the third career match for Herron with at least seven blocks. Senior defensive specialist Kelli Ellison notched a career-best 33 digs in a four-set win at Salem. And senior setter Imani Rodgers moved into seventh place in career assists at Concord with 1,318 as she passed Tomi Dement and Helen Thiesen last week.

GOING THE DISTANCE
The last four matches between Concord and Charleston have gone either four or five sets with the Golden Eagles winning all four matchups. During the spring season, UC took a doubleheader from the Mountain Lions. Hall notched a then career-best 19 kills in the five-set loss while Ellison added a previous personal-best 22 digs. Hall and Herron combined for 29 kills in the four-set defeat by Charleston as Herron added five total blocks. Senior right side Peyton Wiseman racked up a career-best 10 digs in the four-set contest while Rodgers just missed a double-double of 24 assists and nine digs versus UC.

MIRROR IMAGE
Concord and Davis & Elkins are very similar in a few different statistical categories in the MEC. The Mountain Lions own a slight edge in team hitting percentage this season at .194 while D&E hits .169. However, kills per set are much closer with Concord averaging 11.20 and the Senators notching 11.28 per set. CU also owns a small advantage in blocks per set at 1.80 while the Senators check in at 1.34. Hall is tied for sixth in the MEC in blocks per set (0.76) while Herron is ninth at 0.72. Both teams also possess one of the best hitters in the conference. Concord's freshman outside hitter Hannah Steele ranks fourth in the MEC at 3.22 kills per set while Macie Magallon of Davis & Elkins leads the conference at 4.84 kills per set.

CHARLESTON AT A GLANCE
UC's McKenzie Damon and Reagan Phillips are both averaging over two kills per set. Phillips adds a .252 hitting percentage to her kill tally. The Golden Eagles' defense is one of the stingy in the MEC, allowing opponents to hit just .132 this season—second in the league. In a three-set win over West Virginia Wesleyan to start conference action, Charleston had five players with at least five kills, led by Sage Beamon's 10 kills.

DAVIS & ELKINS AT A GLANCE
Because of Magallon's exploits at the net, Davis & Elkins setter Brilane Manchego is third in the MEC in assists at 8.8 per set. After a 3-7 start in the non-conference slate, the Senators have picked off Charleston and Glenville State in MEC play with both wins coming in straight set. In fact, the Senators only allowed 20 points once in the six sets—the opening game against UC that went 25-20 to D&E.
