ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer team recognizes fifth-year senior goalkeeper
Kyle Brown and senior defender
Adrian Cabello when it hosts Alderson-Broaddus 3:30 p.m. Sunday before traveling to Notre Dame 12:00 p.m. Wednesday in two Mountain East Conference games.

RECORDS
CU is 2-13 this season and 2-11 versus the Mountain East Conference.
Alderson-Broaddus has a mark of 5-10 overall and is 4-9 in the league.
NDC is 8-3-2 on the year and is 7-3-2 against MEC foes.
SENIOR GAME
Prior to Sunday's contest, the Mountain Lions will honor Brown and Cabello in a pre-game ceremony. Brown is Concord's all-time saves leader as the Warren, Ohio native has collected 315 saves. Brown has also ascended to top of Division II's save leaderboard among active players. This season, he ranks fourth in Division II with 84 saves. Sunday will be the 53
rd career appearance for CU's net minder. For Cabello, he has appeared in 48 career games with 45 starts, but has been slowed by injury this season. Cabello has three career assists with two coming as a freshman in 2018. The Algeciras, Spain native notched an assist in last year's double overtime road win against Wheeling. Â

Ted Penn both scored a goal and assisted on a goal in a 3-1 win over Wheeling on Wednesday. Debesay assisted on freshman forward
Francisco Salcedo's first career goal before extending CU's lead to 3-0 in the 87
th minute. Penn assisted on Debesay's goal after he scored on a goal three minutes earlier. The duo are the first two players to have a three-point game since Courtney Skerritt scored and tallied an assist versus Wheeling at the end of 2019 season. Additionally, Penn's six points for the season are the most for a Concord defender since Josh Sheffield's eight points during the 2018 season.
ROAD WARRIORS
The Mountain Lions picked up their second road win of the season with the victory over Wheeling. And Concord has earned wins in two of its last three road trips despite being outshot a combined 38-21. However, the gap for shots on goal are much closer with CU only allowing a total of 14 shots on goal in the wins over West Virginia Wesleyan and Wheeling. Brown scooped up 12 saves in the wins, including saving the first seven shots he faced Wednesday. The Maroon and Gray has also done a good job of making the most of their chances as it scored on three of their four shots on goal at West Virginia Wesleyan.

The Battlers defeated Concord at home, 5-1, earlier this season. Andreas Rossak and Camilo Vergara both had two assists versus CU. Concord sophomore forward
Robbie Stiles scored his first goal of the season in the defeat. Alderson-Broaddus neesd to win all three remaining games and receive help to make the MEC Tournament. Rossak has six goals and six assists this season.
NOTRE DAME AT A GLANCE
Notre Dame is two points ahead of Frostburg State for third place in the MEC and needs one more win to clinch a spot in the conference postseason. NDC's 51 goals are tied for first in Division II with Charleston. Ned Dry leads the MEC in goals with 11 while Ailton Silva's nine goals rank third. The Falcons have only lost at home once this season, a 2-0 defeat by Charleston in the first home contest of the year.
