Concord Falls at Notre Dame

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Concord University men's soccer team fell, 4-1, in a Mountain East Conference contest at Mueller Field against Notre Dame Sunday afternoon. 
 
The Mountain Lions grabbed (2-2-1, 1-2-1 MEC) an early 1-0 lead on the first goal of the season from senior midfielder Maxime Ramioulle in the 12thminute of the contest as sophomore forward Daniel Culverwell picked up the assist on the tally. 
 
CU maintained the goal advantage for 20 minutes until the Falcons (3-2, 3-1 MEC) tied the contest, 1-1, in the 34thminute where the score remained at halftime. 
 
However, NDC scored three times in the second half to pick up the win with goals in the 79th, 83rdand 84thminutes. The only other scoring chance for the Maroon and Gray besides Ramioulle's goal came in the 61stminute as junior defender Bruno Baptist pushed a shot wide of the net. 
 
Junior goalkeeper Kyle Brown made eight saves in the game. 
 
The Mountain Lions take on West Virginia Wesleyan on the road 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.
