RECORDS
CU is 2-1-1 this season and 1-1-1 in the MEC.

Notre Dame is 2-2 overall and 2-1 against league foes. In both wins, the Falcons have pitched shutouts.

MAKING HISTORY
The Mountain Lions make their longest road trip of the season with a regional ranking beside their name. Earlier this week, Concord was voted ninth in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Atlantic Regional Poll. It was the first time the Maroon and Gray has been placed in the rankings in program history. With a win Sunday, Concord would be victorious in three of its five games of the season for the first time since the program was restarted in 2008. The closest CU has come to accomplishing the feat in the past was in 2016 when it started 2-2 and dropped the fifth game of the season to Urbana.

LOCKING IT DOWN
Though the Mountain Lions have scored just three goals in four games, CU has done a great job of keeping the opponent of the net. Concord has given up just two goals—both to Davis & Elkins this past Sunday. By making 19 saves through four games, junior goalkeeper Kyle Brown has moved to within three saves of 150 for his career. The Mountain Lions defensive backline of junior Bruno Baptista and freshmen Daniel Haworth, Jesse Kannekens and Cristian Pinto have done a stellar job of keeping shots away from Brown. Additionally, Baptista added his first goal of the season in 2-0 win over West Liberty last week.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Concord has ventured away from Anderson Field just once this season—the 2-0 win at WLU—but CU recorded more than a third of their shots on the season at West Liberty. In 2019, the Mountain Lions have 41 totals with 14 of those coming against the Hilltoppers. Senior midfielder Maxime Ramioulle recorded shots while sophomore midfielder Diego Marti Perez had three shots. Along with Baptista scoring in the game, freshman forward Michael Shelor tallied his first collegiate goal.

TOUGH DRAW
The Mountain Lions will be seeking their first win over Notre Dame in program history as they are 0-9-1 all-time. Two seasons ago, CU was narrowly edged by the Falcons twice in a pair of 1-0 victories for NDC. In 2017, Brown spent 140 minutes in the net and allowed just one goal while making 14 saves versus Notre Dame.

NOTRE DAME AT A GLANCE
The Falcons are coming off their own win over West Liberty as they picked up a 3-0 road victory Thursday. Six different players are responsible for the Notre Dame goals this season. Arthur Favero has assisted on two goals. Sunday will be just the second home game of the season for NDC, but its first home contest against Wheeling was postponed due to lightning. The game started, but didn't reach the 70-minute mark to count as an official contest.
