Davis & Elkins sports a record of 7-5 overall and is 1-1 against MEC teams.

West Virginia Wesleyan is also 1-1 in the league, but just 3-9 overall.

CAREER NIGHT
In the five-set win at UVa.-Wise, sophomore setter Imani Rodgers had a career-best 40 assists which was 12 better than her previous  single-match high. Junior right side Kenzie Coulter tied for the team lead in kills with 11 as she posted a career best, matching freshman middle hitter Amber Hall in kills at UVa.-Wise. Previously, Coulter's career high in kills were eight against UVa.-Wise in 2018. CORD WATCH
With 29 digs at UVa.-Wise, junior defensive specialist Lindsay Maddox moved within 24 digs of reaching 1,000 for her career. Maddox would be the 10th player in program history to amass 1,000 digs when she tops the mark. For senior defensive specialist Erin Shannon, she needs 10 digs to break into the top three in program history. Heading into this weekend, Shannon has 1,627 digs.

GOING THE DISTANCE
Two of the three wins for the Mountain Lions have come in five sets this season as they also took down Ohio Valley in five games during the Concord Classic. In 2019, CU is 2-1 in five sets this season after posting a 1-4 mark in five-set matches in 2018. The four losses included a five-set defeat against West Virginia Wesleyan in final home match of last season. Despite the loss, senior setter Jenna Mounts and Rodgers each had 20 assists while Shannon registered 20 digs. Coulter and sophomore middle hitter Camryn Huber each had four blocks against WVWC.

GOOD TO SEE YOU AMeanwhile, junior outside hitter Kirsti Pouncy just missed a double-double of eight kills and 23 digs, but her dig total was a personal single-match best.

REGAIN
Friday night will be the first meeting between Concord and Davis & Elkins since the 2012 season when both teams were in the WVIAC. CU is just 2-8 versus the Senators since 2005. The Mountain Lions did play in a tournament at D&E in 2014 and 2015, but did not see the Senators in either instance.

DAVIS & ELKINS AT A GLANCE
The Senators swept Charleston during the first weekend of conference play in three sets, but lost to West Virginia State. Davis & Elkins is holding opponents to a .107 hitting percentage this season which is the lowest mark in the MEC. Kaitlyn LeCour is ranked third in the conference in kills per set at 3.53.

WEST VIRGINIA WESLEYAN AT A GLANCE
Like Davis & Elkins, Wesleyan defeated Charleston to start MEC play before dropping a match to WVSU. Concord and WVWC have just one mutual opponent to this point in the season as both squads have played Shepherd. Jenny Lundy's .269 hitting percentage ranks eighth in the MEC.
