ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer team faces Mountain East Conference foe Notre Dame 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Beckley, West Virginia at the Cline Memorial Complex.
SCHEDULE NOTE
The contest had to be moved to Beckley due to heavy rain and poor field conditions at Concord over the last week.

The Mountain Lions are 2-5-1 overall and 2-3-1 against conference teams.
Notre Dame is 7-2 this season and 5-2 in MEC games.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
CU went 1-1 last week as it downed West Liberty 3-0 at the Cline Memorial Complex Sunday before dropping a narrow 1-0 decision to Charleston on the road.
The 3-0 victory over West Liberty was the first shutout for the Mountain Lions since October 17, 2016 when Concord blanked Shippensburg at home. It was also the first career clean sheet for junior goalkeeper

Sophomore midfielder
Maxime Ramioulle tallied his third goal of the season for CU while sophomore midfielder
Moulay Hassani and junior defender
Josh Sheffield also netted goals versus West Liberty.
Junior midfielder
Courtney Skerritt assisted on Hassani's goal. Skerritt recorded his third assist of the season. The Preston, England native is second in the MEC in assists this season, and is the only CU players with multiple assists.
Even though Concord fell to Charleston, it was tied for the smallest margin of victory for the seventh-ranked Golden Eagles who also beat West Virginia Wesleyan 1-0. UC is 8-0-1 this season.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Kyle Brown made seven saves versus Charleston which gives him 32 on the season. Brown and Lokus have stopped a combined 53 shots in 2018 which is tied for second in the conference.
Sunday will mark the second time CU opposes Notre Dame this season after a 3-0 win for the Falcons September 12. At the time, NDC ranked fifth in Division II. The visitors from Ohio enter Sunday's contest slotted 16
th nationally.

The last two games between Concord and NDC with CU as the home team have been tightly contested.
Last season, the Falcons scored in the 13
th minute to win 1-0. Brown made eight saves for the Mountain Lions. Concord did get off five shots on target to Notre Dame's nine shots on goal.
In 2016, CU and Notre Dame tied 1-1 in the regular season finale at Anderson Field.
NOTRE DAME AT A GLANCE
The Falcons have won two straight over Shepherd and Urbana after losing their previous two contests against Charleston and Wheeling Jesuit.
Arthur Favero is the top scorer in the MEC this season with seven goals.
Six of the seven wins for Notre Dame have been shutout victories for goalkeeper Daniele De Angelis.
