WHEELING, W.Va. – The Concord University men's basketball team lost 94-56 to Wheeling Jesuit Thursday night in Mountain East Conference action at the McDonough Center.
Wheeling Jesuit (17-4, 12-3 MEC) jumped out to a 16-2 lead five minutes into the contest. The Mountain Lions (11-9, 7-8 MEC) were able to cut the deficit to 19-7 after a layup by freshman forward
Trey Shuff with 14:02 left in the first half.
CU was never able to get any closer as the Cardinals owned a 49-24 halftime deficit and pulled away in the second half for the 38-point margin of victory.

Tommy Bolte finished with 19 points on 8-for-16 shooting. Freshman forward
Antonio Patterson also notched double figures with 15 points including knocking down 3-of-6 three-point attempts.

Jafar Musa was the leading rebounder for CU with four rebounds to go along with four points.
The Mountain Lions continue their road trip 3:00 p.m. Saturday at West Liberty.
