RECORDS
The Mountain Lions come into the contest with a mark of 2-8 overall and 2-7 in Mountain East Conference play.

After a 4-1 start to the season, UU has dropped five straight games and enters the contest with a 4-6 record and 3-6 tally in the MEC.

THE SENIOR GAME
Eight Mountain Lions take to the Callaghan Stadium turf one final time Saturday.

Head coach Paul Price and CU will honor offensive lineman Derek Dressler, linebacker Andrew Jakubowsky, tight end Mark Large, linebacker Zach Malone, defensive lineman Justin Noble, wide receiver Brandon Plyler, defensive back Chaudlier Shepherd and offensive lineman Jack Skidmore.

Dressler has started the last 34 games for the Mountain Lions and overall will make his 40th appearance in the Maroon and Gray.

Since transferring from Monterey Peninsula Community College in California, Jakubowsky has started every game over the last two years at Concord.

At Fairmont State last week, the Marina, California native recorded his 100th career tackle.

Large has been a starter for CU at tight the last two seasons and has served as the Mountian Lions' long snapper since the beginning of the 2016 season.

Malone is the active-leading tackler for the Mountain Lions with 326 for his career, ranking fifth all-time at Concord.

The Charleston, West Virginia native will most likely not appear on Saturday after an injury two weeks ago. Malone has twice been named to the All-MEC Team and recorded back-to-back 100-tackle seasons in 2016 and 2017.

Furthermore, Malone ranks second in program history in forced fumbles with seven.

Noble has tallied 127 career tackles to go along with 13 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. With 1.5 sacks in his final time in the Maroon and Gray, the Nutter Fort, West Virginia native would move into the top 10 in program history in career sacks.

With a year of eligibility left, Plyler will graduate early from Concord. Plyler has 95 career catches for 1,148 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Fort Mill, South Carolina native is 10th in career touchdown catches at CU.

Shepherd will leave Concord in the top 10 in career pass break-ups, punt return yards, punt return average, kick return yards and kick return average. With an interception Saturday, Shepherd could also join the top 10 in career interceptions.

Skidmore has started in various positions along the offensive line over the last two years.

100-YARD RUSHERS
At Fairmont State, freshman running back Josh Maxwell tallied his first career 100-yard game by running for 111 yards.

The Aberdeen, Maryland native averaged a career-best 6.9 yards per carry as he had 16 attempts versus FSU.

Maxwell joins freshman running back Kris Copeland (at West Virginia Wesleyan) and sophomore wide receiver Isaiah Bowman (vs. Glenville State) as other CU players that have notched 100-yard ground games this season.

Concord joins Notre and West Virginia State as the teams with three 100-yard rushers in 2018.

STARTING OUT ON THE RIGHT FOOT
On Saturday, sophomore linebacker Dwain Porterfield and freshman defensive back Davon Williams received their first career starts against Fairmont State.

Porterfield was in for the injured Malone at middle linebacker while Williams suited up at safety for junior defensive back Ke'Shawn Hall, who was forced to sit out the first half because of a suspension from a targeting penalty the week before.

Williams intercepted his first career pass in the third quarter while also coming up a career-high six tackles and his first career pass break-up.

In the middle of the defense, Porterfield led Concord with a personal-best eight tackles. His tackle total also tied for the game high at Fairmont State.

GETTING DONE IT IN THE AIR
Though averaging just 193 passing yards per game, Concord is third in the MEC in passing touchdowns this season with 20.

The Mountain Lions had two passing touchdowns at Fairmont State as junior quarterback Kyle Akin and sophomore quarterback Adam Fulton each had one.

Over the last four games, CU has two or more passing touchdowns in each contest.

Additionally, Concord has tallied multiple touchdown passes in eight of 10 games in 2018.

Entering the weekend, Akin is fifth in the conference in touchdown tosses with 13.

SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE
CU comes into the contest with Urbana ranking 10th in pass defense, giving up 256 yards per game through air.

However, the Mountain Lions may be getting the right opponent to cure the passing defense.

Urbana sits 11th in the conference, averaging just 141 yards through the air this season.

The Blue Knights have only eclipsed 150 passing yards four times this season and since the end of September have only done it once, two weeks against Glenville State.

UU has thrown 15 interceptions this season, an MEC high.

Meanwhile, Concord has at least one interception in two straight games and three of the last five contests.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
8- Consecutive games with a passing touchdown by Akin, the longest streak since 13 straight by Brian Novak in 2014.

150.3- Average number of rushing yards per game for Concord over the last six games after averaging just 103 per game in the first four contests.

425- The next win for Concord will be the program's 425th.

URBANA AT A GLANCE
The last two games for the Blue Knights have been decided by a total of 10 points--a three-point loss versus West Virginia State and a seven-point setback at Glenville State.

Half of Urbana's 10 games have been decided by 10 or fewer points this season.

Because of injuries, UU has played four quarterbacks this season.

Projected starter Eddie Stockett has played in just four games while current starter Zairn Davis is a game-time decision for the game against the Mountain Lions.

Isaiah Young is averaging over four yards per carry this season and has a team-best 748 yards.

Urbana is third in the MEC in sacks with 24 this season, led by Mikal Tolliver who has exactly one-third of those 24 sacks.
