ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team travels to Urbana, Ohio for Mountain East Conference play at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday to take on the Blue Knights.

The Mountain Lions enter the matchup 9-4-2 overall and 7-3-1 conference.
Urbana is 3-11 overall and 2-9 conference.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
Concord picked up an 8-0 home victory Sunday afternoon against Glenville State, earning its spot in the MEC Tournament that starts next week.
Five of Concord's players secured at least one goal each, while sophomore midfielder
Sarah Hill scored three alone in the last ten minutes of the contest.
Hill was assisted on each goal by fellow sophomore midfielder
Courtney Wallace, sophomore defender
Alyssa Mahar, and sophomore midfielder
Yasmin Mosby. The assist by Mahar was her first career collegiate point.
Ranked number one in the MEC for goals scored, senior forward
Pilar Elias had two goals in the match to bring her season total to nine—a new single-season best for the Waterville, Maine native.

Delaney Crumblish, freshman forward
Leah Foster, and Mosby each had one goal for the Mountain Lions.
Crumblish notched her fifth goal of the season to also set a new single-season high. Meanwhile, Foster brought both her goal and assist total to six with an assist on Elias' first goal. Foster is second in the MEC in points by a freshman with 18.
As for Mosby, she recorded her first career goal with a second-half score against the Pioneers.
This will be the first meeting between Concord and Urbana for the season.
Last season, Concord downed Urbana 6-0 on the road.
Four of the six players who scored for Concord during the game last season have returned to meet Urbana for another contest.
Elias scored Concord's first goal of the match early in the first half. The next five goals were scored in the second half.
Sophomore midfielder
Courtney Wallace scored her first career goal during Concord's meeting with Urbana last season. Wallace now carries ten career goals into Wednesday's contest after finding the back of the net against West Virginia Wesleyan last week.
Wallace has also recorded a point in five straight games ahead of the matchup with UU.
Crumblish and Hill also tallied scores versus Urbana in the six-goal win.
In the regular season finale in 2017, the two teams played to a 0-0 draw. Sophomore goalkeeper
Sydney Harris recorded her first career shutout in the contest.
URBANA AT A GLANCE
After giving up six goals to CU in the first game in 2017, Urbana was able to draw scoreless for a tie with Concord in the second go-around.
Alyssa Edwards has seven goals for the Blue Knights with three being game-winning goals.
Katherine Beech averages 5.10 saves per game as goalkeeper for the Blue Knights.
