RECORDS
The Mountain Lions are 0-1-1 on the season after a narrow 1-0 loss to King and a 2-2 draw at Shippensburg.

BC is off to a 3-0 start on the season.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
Concord erased a 2-0 deficit in the first five minutes to earn the tie with Shippensburg.
Sophomore forward
Sam Ashton scored his eighth career goal—a penalty kick—for Concord's first score in the game.
Ashton pushed himself into a tie for seventh in career at Concord with the strike at Shippensburg.
Junior midfielder
Matt Henderson netted the equalizer for the Mountain Lions early in the second half.
It marked the second straight season that Concord and SU have played a tight match. In 2016, CU won 1-0 in double overtime at home against the Raiders.
This will be the second straight season and third time in the last four years that Concord will face Charleston when the Golden Eagles are ranked first in the country.
CU has never defeated one of the premier programs in Division II in its history, going 0-16.
Last season, the Maroon and Gray opposed UC at home when it was number one nationally September 22.
In two games last week, freshman goalkeeper
Kyle Brown made his first two career starts for the Mountain Lions.
Brown stopped four of five shots versus King including back-to-back saves in the first half to keep the game scoreless. And he returned to action on Saturday to stop two shots.
Concord narrowly fell to Bluefield College 3-2 last season at the East River Soccer Complex, where Monday's night contest will be held.
Ashton deposited a shot in the back of the net for the first CU score. Meanwhile, sophomore defender
Pedro Bassin recorded the second goal to knot the game 2-2 before BC scored the go-ahead tally with 10 minutes left in regulation.
Junior defender
Xander Bailey scored his only career goal versus the Rams two seasons.
The Mountain Lions will be seeking to stop a brief three-game losing streak against Bluefield College. However, Concord owns a 5-3-1 series advantage versus its local rival.
CHARLESTON AT A GLANCE
The Golden Eagles have defeated a pair of PSAC teams, Mercyhurst and Gannon, to start the 2017 season.
Reigning MEC Player of the Week Ettore Ballestracci netted two goals in two games last week and is one of seven players in the league with multiple goals this season.
UC's Paulo Pita has stopped seven of eight shots he has faced this season.
BLUEFIELD COLLEGE AT A GLANCE
BC first two wins of the season were shutout where it won by a combined 8-0. However, the Rams needed double overtime to defeat Southeastern University.
Abel Bogale has accounted for four of the 11 goals for Bluefield College this season. Seven other players have scored the other goals.
Two of the three wins for Bluefield College on the season have come at home while its most recent victory occurred in Lakeland, Florida.
