Game 2: Concord 6 – Charleston 4
CU erased a 4-1 deficit in the seventh by plating four runs to ensure a doubleheader split between the two teams.

Ryan Fralin in the third inning. CU's lead would only hold until the bottom half when Charleston plated a single run.
The Golden Eagles added three runs in the fourth to take control of the game.
And Concord's deficit remained three until the seventh inning.
Clark started the rally with a lead-off home run, his 13
th of the season. After a flyout, sophomore infielder
Brett Simmons and Fralin reached base in back-to-back plate appearances and advanced on a wild pitch. The extra base allowed Neff's groundout to score Simmons from third and narrow the deficit to 4-3 with two outs.
Williams dropped a single into center field to tie the game, scoring Fralin on the play. Junior infielder
Chad Frazier kept the line moving with his own single, allowing sophomore infielder
Trevor Wiersma to provide the go-ahead RBI with a single through the right side that plated Williams.
Neff gave the Mountain Lions a much-needed insurance run in the eighth as his single scored freshman infielder
Jakob Divers. Divers got aboard after a bunt single with one out and moved to second on a Simmons' walk.
Redshirt freshman pitcher
Cody Dooley was stellar out of the bullpen for Concord as he improved to 2-1 on the season. Dooley tossed the final five innings for the Mountain Lions, allowing just three hits and striking out three.
Of Concord's six runs, three of them were scored with two outs in an inning.
Fralin, Neff, Wiersma and Williams all had two hits while Neff and Williams added two RBI at the top of the Concord lineup.
Every Concord starter had at least one base knock in Concord's 13-hit output.
Senior pitcher
Nate Werner tossed the first four innings for CU as he gave up four runs.
Clark's game two home run ties for him for sixth on the all-time single-season list at Concord.
