The Mountain Lions scored three runs in the sixth to lock up a game one win over the Pioneers.

Concord struck first in game one in the third inning after singles from sophomore infielder Kylie Kent and senior shortstop Alayna Furr helped Concord get runners on first and second with one out.

After a wild pitch from the Pioneers and a single to third base from senior third baseman Courtney Purtell, senior outfielder Lauren Lewis singled up the middle to score both Furr and Kent and give the Mountain Lions a 2-0 lead after three innings.

Glenville State tallied its lone run in the fifth inning on an RBI groundout from Mackenzie Edmonds to cut the CU lead to 2-1.
