GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Concord University volleyball team earned a sweep of Glenville State Friday night in Mountain East Conference action at the Waco Center.
The Mountain Lions upended Glenville State 25-17, 25-20, 25-19 to improve to 10-17 overall and 4-7 in the conference. Glenville State drops to 0-19 and 0-10 in the MEC.
Junior outside hitter
Alexi Pranckus led the Mountain Lions with 11 kills and a hitting percentage of .391. Junior middle hitter Brook Heck also went for double-digit kills as she notched 10 kills and a hitting percentage of .529.

Casey Mandeville racked up 19 assists with freshman setter
Kristen Spearen adding a career-best 11 assists and nine digs.
Freshman libero
Lindsay Maddox registered 18 digs in the match.
Concord had 11 blocks in the matches. Sophomore middle hitter
Emily Ellis paced CU with five blocks. Senior middle hitter
Shea Hoffman and Pranckus each had three in the match.
The Mountain Lions take on West Virginia Wesleyan 10:00 a.m. Saturday on the road.
