ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer team returns to action after a week off when it hosts Shepherd 3:30 p.m. Wednesday for a Mountain East Conference contest.

RECORDS
The Mountain Lions are 2-11-2 and 2-7-1 against MEC opponents.
Shepherd is seeking its first win of season as it arrives with a 0-15-1 mark and is 0-10 in the conference.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
The last time out for Concord it tied Wheeling Jesuit 1-1.
Sophomore
Maxime Ramioulle scored a second-half goal CU, but neither team was able to score in the 20-minute overtime session.
Of the 15 games Concord has played this season, 10 of the contests have either been decided by one goal or has ended in a draw.
The only games that haven't been tight at the end was a win over Shepherd, two losses to Charleston and the ties against Wheeling Jesuit and Shippensburg.
CU has won three straight games over Shepherd, and has outscored the Rams 12-2 during the streak.
Earlier this season, Concord downed the Rams 4-1 on the road.

Traore and sophomore forward
Sam Ashton have two career goals against Shepherd with Ashton scoring both his last year.
Ashton has 13 career goals and is tied for fifth all-time in goals scored at Concord. The Waterlooville, England native is due for a goal, having not scored in four straight games—the longest of his career.
Ramioulle and Traore each had an assist in road game against Shepherd September 27.
Freshman goalkeeper
Kyle Brown and junior goalkeeper
Michael Adedigba combined to make seven saves while allowing just one goal to Shepherd.
With the help of his work against Shepherd and Wheeling Jesuit later in the week, Brown earned MEC Defensive Player of the Week  for recording 135 minutes of shutout goalkeeping.
