WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Freshman forward
Sara Bane's header with less than two minutes left in double overtime sent the Concord University women's soccer team to 1-0 win over West Liberty in Mountain East Conference action at the WL Soccer Complex Saturday afternoon.
It was the third straight win for the Mountain Lions who improve to 8-6 overall and 6-6 in the league. WLU drops to 4-8-2 and 3-8-2 against MEC foes.
Concord took 11 shots on the day, but it was West Liberty's Lauren Hartnell saving the first 10 until Bane found the back of the net in the 109

Right before the goal, Bane had a shot blocked down that forced a corner kick. Freshman forward
