GREENEVILLE, Tenn.- The Concord University women's soccer team was defeated 3-0 on the road at Tusculum in the season opener for each team.
Concord falls to 0-1-0, while Tusculum improves to 1-0-0.
The two teams were deadlocked at 0-0 for the entire first half until the Pioneers scored a last-gasp goal with just 39 seconds remaining in the first half off of a corner kick. The Pioneers found the back of the net just four minutes after the second half began, before adding a third goal in the 70th minute to round off the scoring.
