Concord Drops Decision to Urbana

URBANA, Ohio- The Concord University men's soccer team fell on the road to Urbana 7-0 in Mountain East Conference action on Thursday afternoon. 

Concord falls to 2-3 on the season, while Urbana improves to 3-1-1.

Urbana came out scoring early, after Raphael Northoff scored two goals just a little over a minute apart in the sixth and seventh minute for an early 2-0 lead.  UU added two more goals in the 20th and 24th minute to take a 4-0 halftime advantage.  The Blue Knights added three more goals in the second half to round out the scoring.   

Overall, Urbana outshot Concord 15-4, with 11 of those shots on target.  Freshman forward Jack Garwood mustered Concord's lone shot on target.  

CU returns home to face West Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday.  Kickoff is scheduled for 3 P.M.
