Box Score GLENVILLE, W.Va- After a slow start to the game, the Concord University women's basketball team could not overcome an early deficit in a 99-62 defeat at the Waco Center.
Concord drops to 5-17 on the season (3-13 MEC), while Glenville State improves to 15-7 overall (11-5 MEC).
Glenville came out hot early, and the Mountain Lions never fully recovered from the 25-6 run that Glenville State opened the game with. Glenville State kept their foot on the pedal, and carried a 54-33 lead into the break.
The Mountain Lions were led in scoring by freshman guard
Emily Boothe, who had 19 points, and senior forward
Kylie Molisee, who managed to secure a career-high 21 rebounds to go along with 16 points.
Concord will travel to West Liberty on February 11th before taking on Wheeling Jesuit on Saturday February 13th.
