Opening Tip
The Concord University Women's Basketball Team will travel to Charleston on Thursday evening before returning home against UVa.-Wise for the final regular season game of the year and senior day at the Carter Center.

Concord stands at 5-21 on the year, and will look to earn their first road win since a 77-52 win over Bluefield State on January 26th.

Charleston stands at 10-16 on the year, and are 8-12 in conference play.

UVa.-Wise are 11-13 in overall, and are 7-13 in conference play.

Second Half Resurgence

Concord's slow starts have made things difficult for the Mountain Lions, but CU has turned things up in the second half recently this season.

Concord is narrowly behind in second half scoring in the past four games.

The Mountain Lions have been outscored 156-151 in the second half, which includes tough road matchups at the conference's top two teams West Liberty and Wheeling Jesuit.

The Mountain Lions also outscored both Notre Dame and Urbana in the second half in their last two contests at home.

Lone Senior

Saturday's contest at home against UVa.-Wise marks the last time Kylie Molisee will take the floor for the Mountain Lions at the Carter Center.

Molisee to date would rank third all-time in rebounds per game, but falls just two games short of the required 50 games played criteria. Molisee is averaging 8.7 per game over her career.

She is also averaging 11.7 points per game in her career, and has accumulated 11 double-doubles during her time as a Mountain Lion.

Molisee has been one of Concord's most consistent players over her two seasons, ranking in the top 10 in the Mountain East in rebounding on a weekly basis and also garnering 7 games where she scored 20 or more points, including a career-high 24 points against West Virginia Wesleyan in Concord's 73-70 victory over the Bobcats this season.

Defending Well

Concord played defensively well in the first half against the Golden Eagles in the teams first matchup in Athens, allowing UC to score just 16 points in the first half and shoot just 25 percent from the field.

The Mountain Lions and Golden Eagles both struggled from the field during the first twenty minutes, with both teams combining for just 36 points at the break.

While Charleston found their shooting touch in the second half, the game marked the fourth consecutive game in which Concord held their opponent to under 67 points.

Overbey Finds Shooting Touch
Sophomore guard Lindsey Overbey had a sound performance against UVa.-Wise in the two teams first matchup at Wise this season.

Overbey shot 8-for-10 from the field on her way to a 17-point performance against the Cavaliers, which at the time was a career-high for her.

Overbey has found the hoop recently as well, netting four double figure scoring games, including a 22-point ouburst in Concord's 90-86 win over Shepherd at home.

She has also scored double figures in consecutive games for just the second time this season.
